Personally, I can understand how some people can get it wrong-either constantly, or periodically.

It's not just you. It annoys a lot of people. It's usually not difficult to understand what people mean and if you were talking you wouldn't know.

However could of, should of, would of does cause me a slight frisson of annoyance

Yes I try and let most things like that in the forum wash over me. But agree with the "have"s... It isn't should'f, would'f or could'f is it...

Sometimes you can tell it's a language issue or possibly dyslexia. Other times it's just lack of proof reading.

I lurk more than I post and more recently I've seen posts where I can't make head nor tails of what they're trying to say because of the lack of punctuation/missing words. Anywho...

Oh, and being and seeing not been or seen...

I try my very bestest I only managed a B and a C in English GCSE and it's been a very long time since someone last tested my knowledge. I also have autocorrect which likes to interrupt and edit on the fly. So I am prone to stupid mistakes, quite often.

I do feel your pain though.

Count me as one of those who’s education wasn’t managed well enough to overcome my difficult in learning English to the level you did.

So when I hear or read posts at peoples disgust or chuckling how inferior to their intellect I, or others like me are to them. I think...what a proper dick.
