They have no need of our help

So do not tell me

These haggard faces could belong to you or me

Should life have dealt a different hand

We need to see them for who they really are

Chancers and scroungers

Layabouts and loungers

With bombs up their sleeve

Cut-throat and thieves

They are not

Welcome here

We should make them

Go back to where they came from

They cannot

Share our food

Share our homes

Share our countries

Instead let us

Build a wall to keep them out

It is not ok to say

These people are just like us

A place should only belong to those who are born there

Do not be so stupid to think that

The world can be looked at another way

All the ones i've seen are about depression or domestic violence, still were good though.

That's really very clever. I've not read that before.. or even heard of this kind of poetry.

Something tells me he's an empath.

The poet needs to make their mind up about what they are saying.

The reason we have people on the tills at supermarkets, off-licenses and pubs is because if you simple leave the doors open and don't have any restrictions the obvious happens.

It is a beautiful thought that people would just wander in to an unmanned Tesco and help themselves to a single tomato, two eggs, a small piece of cheese, two wholemeal tortilla wraps and a half bottle of Low Alcohol Wine and then leave again.

But that isn't what happens.

It is why we have locks on our doors and don't leave our wallets on the dashboard and our cars unlocked with the keys in the ignition. Some people want to wander around wearing Kennomeat Underpants in this Dog eat Dog World. But I am afraid I aint wearing Kennomeat Underpants for some "Facebook Empath". I bet they don't give up their home for the homeless and then go and live on the street instead.

The first duty of the Government of any Country is to protect its Borders for its citizens. The citizens are the people who work, pay taxes and do most of the living, working, building and dying in a country. They live there. It is their country.
