When is ‘the wall ‘?

I’m doing it. Big test tonight, out for dinner with four guys. I did it - lime and soda all night.

Big test? Seriously? Long before this dry January bullshit was a thing, even before the internet was a thing, I would stop the booze for a few weeks after new year. It wasn't difficult, it wasn't a challenge and I was in the pub at least 5 nights a week, so don't give me all that crap. If you decide you need a break from booze just do it, don't make out that it is some ordeal or some big thing because if it is then you have real problems.

I think you need to calm down and have a drink or maybe think about walking away from your keyboard for a few days?

York

I haven't had a drink since new year, no particular reason I just don't drink at home. Out this weekend though so will be on it.

I don't abuse alcohol, I teach it a fucking lesson
