Moving house!

So flipping stressful! I swear I’ve got boxes of shit I didn’t even know I had. Urgh. I’m defo making 2019 a minimalist year and throwing away crap I don’t need.

Moving just after Xmas and new year too so stressed!!

If you've got time, bin that stuff before you move or charity shop it.

If you've not needed it up til now you probably won't need it once you've moved.

Hiding in the shadows

I moved here, be 3yrs in May.

The house was described as, having lots of potential.

Which basically meant it hadn't been modernised or updated since the 50s & needed a lot of work!

I still have boxes I've not unpacked, one day, I won't live in a building site & I'll get them done

I lived in the same place that ma Dad built for nearly 50 years, moving was such a chore, have been at ma present gaff for 5 years now and want to move again, I'm not looking forward to it though, even though I have downsized and decluttered over the years.

I move every 3yrs or so.

Stuff isn't important.

There is no stress only attachment to stuff you don't need!

I moved the weekend before Christmas. Such bad timing!

You'll get there though. I'm down to just 2 boxes to unpack in the spare room!

I agree with chucking things as you pack though, I got rid of loads before I moved.

Yeah I've just done same except I moved into my parents while I renovated my new house been here now 6 months and still shiffting shite in I'm very minimal but it's what comes with having 3 kids and they wanting me to keep everything good luck

We moved three years ago and we're still updating and renovating. We promised ourselves that we will get one box a week down from the loft and sort it this year . God alone knows where we're going to put the stuff.

I'm never moving again, the last time was so exhausting that I just couldn't face it. Unless we won millions of pounds and paid someone to do the lot
