Who do you go to sleep with?

Plymouth and Newcastle (sometimes)

So on the back of another thread I posted on, who do you all go to sleep with? We used to leave BBC news on the tv but after the bedroom one broke, we now drift off listening to radio 4 and usually about the time of the shipping forecast. I'm not keen on the bells on a Sunday night though

Complete silence....except for the sound of fuzz breathing. Oh and the house rabbit that has to stomp every 5 minutes to warn us of impending doom and the dog who barks if someone in Japan lets off a banger...

Sleep alone and in silence. That is my time to switch off. However if on a meet and sharing a bed, that is the time to switch on.

Silence ideally, but might put on a guided sleep meditation or some white noise if I'm really struggling to drop off.

Im lucky i get earplugs free at work.

If i hear so much as a pin drop im more awake than a wizzed up lemming

If I'm alone which is rare, I like total silence and darkness. My other half can't sleep in silence so he usually has something on Netflix at a low volume and sets it to go off after he's fallen asleep. More often I'll wake up and turn it off!

My cat TJ. He has his own side of the bed next to my pullow. Tiddles tries to sleep on top of me, Peppa Pig is next to me on the right side and Sweetie is inbetween my knees. And yes, I'm surrounded by pussy lol.

Sounds like your dog is related to our neighbours as I'm sure someone tries to burgle their house every night...All night!

Haha...Whizzed up lemming

Our bedroom's never silent though as P makes nearly as much noise asleep as she does when she's awake and I can't sleep with earplugs so radio it is.

I too have Radio 4 on. Don’t mind the bells but sometimes the music on the quiz, counterpoint can be distracting. I also generally have a kitten with her head buried in my hair usually lying across my chest or shoulder and another cat behind my knees.

Here occasionally, but mostly somewhere else

Usually nothing, occasionally will put my phone on to whatever music is on there. If I do, need to activate sleep mode, otherwise I get part woken up throughout the night by random songs and sleep very badly. I used to use Motorhead or Metallica as alarm tunes,which probably doesn't help

If I’m totally exhausted from work or sex (that’s a rare occurrence) then I can sleep easily, otherwise I use the Rain Rain app with thunderstorms, rain and ocean waves in the background.

Small, sleepy rottweiler snoring under the bed (quite a soothing sound actually) and a small fluffy lhasa apso snoring much more quietly, snuggled up at the small of my back....they come at night mostly.....
