Well it seems my membership runs out in 5 days time. I'd like to say it's been a pleasure being a member of this site but it hasn't. It's been a complete waste of time and money. There's only so many times a chap can put up with messages not being read, being completely ignored or just deleted with no response. I have lost count of the number of messages I've sent with absolutely no response whatesoever. No wonder this site gets so many bad reviews. Wish I'd seen them before I parted with my money. Ah well, we live and learn.

You don’t need to be a site member to enjoy Fab, if your subscription runs out in 5 days simply don’t pay the subscription and continue as an unpaid member.

Then you can have messages ignored and deleted for free. Winning.

The site is free. You don't have to pay.

Many people do well on the site whether they pay or not. A fiver every 30/60 days doesn't guarantee getting your dick wet.

Good luck trying any other sites. They're no different and will probably cost you more.

I guess the negative reviews were from people who thought setting up a profile and popping a couple of quickly taken snaps would have others rushing to meet them. Delusional springs to mind.

As someone else said,membership is free,and should you take advantage of supporting the site it's been not a fiver every two months.

What were you expecting for a fiver?

The site isn't responsible for no one answering your messages,the common denominator here seems to be you,not the site.

If you'd read the site FAQ's you'd realise that no reply/deleted message IS this site's equivalent of "no thank you" if you demand that everyone replies are you offering secretarial services to assist them?

There is a 50 to 1 ratio of men to women here.

The average woman can get over 100 messages daily and you insist we must reply.

If he has had advice before and admits he chooses to ignore it though, I guess he feels the only other option is to blame the site and leave which is a shame really. I am fully aware that you don't have to pay. But I was kind of under the impression that you would be taken more seriously by being a site supporter. It didn't cost me a fiver it cost me £12.50, or something like that.

I also fully realise that nothing is guaranteed, least of all 'getting my dick wet'. But I did kind of expect some sort of interaction if only a 'no thank you'.I don't really think it's delusional to expect something, anything. Even just a 'thanks but no thanks' would have been a refreshing change.

It is honest but reads a little negative as opposed to fun. The warnings are just copy and paste totally unecessary.

But if you got 100s of messages daily you can't read, check profile and reply to every one ... it's not bad manners it's in the rules! No reply isn't personal it just means no thanks!

I really don't get that attitude. Everyone is telling you that your profile will put off women and your lack of replies confirms that. Yet you refuse to change your profile and blame women for not liking it.

It's like me stocking up my off licence on a council estate with expensive fine wines and saying its my customers fault when I go out of business.

OP whether you agree or disagree with the fact that people don't reply it's not something you will change - so you have the choice to accept it or not, but moaning about it will get you absolutely nowhere, so you're better off accepting it with a shrug of the shoulders and telling yourself that those that don't reply obviously weren't a good match for your requirements.

I find it's far better to look at what you *can* change rather than looking to blame anything or anyone else for the site not meeting your expectations (which I will be honest and say are probably set way too high) - the things you can change are all within your control and a good start would be taking some of the advice provided on this thread and other similar ones you have posted on.

The kind of things you can change include attitude, approach, expectations, profile, pics, forum use, social/club attendance and more - all of which are key to finding what you want from the site - they won't guarantee a thing of course, but getting them right *will* make your experience a better one

A middle aged "curvy" man is going to be up against it anyway. Add to that

1. No pics

2. Refusing to meet for socials

3. Having an aggressive, entitled profile.

And Id be astonished if anyone replied to his messages.

As you say, whilst he can't do anything about his age or looks, he can do something about 1 to 3. The fact that he refuses to do so suggests that we're dealing with entrenched personality traits.

As such he's right. He's wasting his time on here.

It doesn't appear that you have used the extra photo allowance either, so why did you spend the money?

Cutting through all the padding in your profile, I can only see you like kissing and consider yourself to be good at oral- not much to go on really is it? Especially if the prospective lady can't have a quick drink with you prior to gauge attraction!

The common factor amongst the majority of those that find it doesn't meet their expectations though is that they all seek to blame anyone or anything else for their lack of "success" from the site rather than looking closer to home for the answer, which is usually where the problem lies.

If i can do it, almost anyone can. And yes it's partly luck but I do think that luck is influenced by many men on here who will never get a meet simply through their own actions amd ineptitude.

My view is that the "secret" for single men is to be able to treat women as human beings and not as receptacles in which to put your penis. That means being able to talk to them about non sexual subjects, be aware of and take account of their feelings, and not present as someone who might be on the sex offenders register.

As you say, it's only a small minority of men who here who seem to be able to do that.

More difficult now as don't accomodate. OK so 95% are guys but also had the pleasure of meting several couples M/F. Best site I have found.

A couple of points.

The site is free. You don't have to pay.

Many people do well on the site whether they pay or not. A fiver every 30/60 days doesn't guarantee getting your dick wet.

Good luck trying any other sites. They're no different and will probably cost you more.

I guess the negative reviews were from people who thought setting up a profile and popping a couple of quickly taken snaps would have others rushing to meet them. Delusional springs to mind.

Oh don't get me wrong I agree that those that don't get it outweigh those that do and perhaps I phrased the suggestion of not wanting to put a percentage on it wrongly.

Perhaps a better way to have put it would be that a lot is made of the number imbalance between men, women and couples on here, but if you take away those that don't get it (across all categories) - it's a lot more evenly balanced. Which logically comes back to if you have the right approach and attitude it's highly likely your expectations of the site will be met, no matter your gender.

The common factor amongst the majority of those that find it doesn't meet their expectations though is that they all seek to blame anyone or anything else for their lack of "success" from the site rather than looking closer to home for the answer, which is usually where the problem lies.

Oh don't get me wrong I agree that those that don't get it outweigh those that do and perhaps I phrased the suggestion of not wanting to put a percentage on it wrongly.

Perhaps a better way to have put it would be that a lot is made of the number imbalance between men, women and couples on here, but if you take away those that don't get it (across all categories) - it's a lot more evenly balanced. Which logically comes back to if you have the right approach and attitude it's highly likely your expectations of the site will be met, no matter your gender."

There's also the other point that a lot of the guys who don't get it don't actually want to me in my view.

My evidence for that is when we organise gangbang parties. We're not really bothered about personality for them. If you look half way decent and aren't a complete tosser you'll probably get an invite. Despite that two thirds to three quarters of people invited don't turn up.

Paying for fab use is an option that gives you extra site features but may not affect greater success here. The people I know would write rave reviews, so I don't know where the op sees different types

Individual results vary - some people are more desired by others - the approach taken by some is more successful - some people actually swing and use swinging venues with a website as a social support - others are geographically blessed with lots more people around them, etc etc

If someone gets incredibly highsexual success rates with the new contacts they make in the wider world, then it would be strange if their charisma and sexual magnetism didn't produce lots of the same here. How do you perform in the real world op, in comparison?

It's really helpful to have realistic expectations and not to pay for site supporter whilst assuming it can transform dud results into 24/7 orgies.

That makes sense, yes. And I'm not so much picking on men. One, as I say, I'm going by my inbox, but two, women and couples will have less issues getting meets almost no matter what they do. I'm certainly not saying that the only bad people/ people "doing it wrong" are men.

I think for the top 20-30% of men it's partly luck. The bottom... no, most of it is about them.

Very true about those at the bottom. I'm not great looking, I don't have a great body, I'm a little odd and not aways at my best socially and I could always get meets when I was looking. If i can do it, almost anyone can. And yes it's partly luck but I do think that luck is influenced by many men on here who will never get a meet simply through their own actions amd ineptitude.

In the kingdom of the blind, the one eyed man is king. Even with the huge numbers of men on here these days it's really not difficult for even someone decidedly average like me to influence their own luck

My view is that the "secret" for single men is to be able to treat women as human beings and not as receptacles in which to put your penis. That means being able to talk to them about non sexual subjects, be aware of and take account of their feelings, and not present as someone who might be on the sex offenders register.

As you say, it's only a small minority of men who here who seem to be able to do that. "

Oh I didn't think for a minute you were picking on men - didn't come across that way at all, likewise about the only ones that get it wrong are men.

Yes in the imbalanced world couples and women do have it easier when it comes to getting meets in some respects, my point was more that in the balanced world (where those that don't "get it" are taken out) it's actually just as easy for men (and I say "easy" with guardedness as it makes it sound like it would just be a case of having a profile which we all know it isn't).

I’ve tried other sites and they are CRAP!

Fab is the best and it is free. It’s only if you choose to pay extra for more pictures etc.

There is one site that won’t let you message unless you’ve paid a years subscription upfront.
