I have a plain purple one that came from Tesco years ago and I have used ever since dropping and breaking the same style but burgundy one I had before that.

It's just the right size for a large cuppa.

I actually dropped it in the sink the other day and had a mild panic because I thought I'd broken it but mercifully it's quite chunky and survived.

On the side it says ugly uncle.

Now I couldn't work out why they were laughing when I was drinking from it.

Then as I was washing it on the bottom it says. Ugly cunt.

I have 2 favourite mugs

One has a picture of Mr Tickle on

The other has a Mr Marvellous picture.

Both from Aldi

If Scarlett brings me a cup of coffee in Mr Tickle mug I know we are in for a bit of fun later. And the kids (teenagers) are none the wiser to her subtle signals!

If she tells me to get my own friggin’ coffee then I don’t care who’s picture is on the mug lol

We have about 30 mugs in the kitchen.

I'm the only one in the house that drinks coffee and the occasional tea.

Fox will have a hot chocolate once in a blue moon.

I have a couple of favourites - a two pint 'size matters' one which is my go to mug for dunking an entire packet of hob nobs, as well as a plain white one with the word 'TWAT' on the bottom.

Fox bought it for me.......

We have a pair of beautiful matching ones given by a wonderful fab friend....the design means they cannot be used in public

When i was 24 i had a French boyfriend. We stayed for a long weekend in York and he bought me a beautiful green mug with a frog on the handle fron a pottery shop. I have still got it 30yrs later and would cry if it ever got broken.
