I have chatted to some great sexy people on fab from all over the country. But many have been “too far away” to meet (there words not mine). How far away is too far away?

Maybe it is a polite excuse for saying they dont want to meet ?

I’m unlikely to travel any further than an hour away at the moment so if they are willing to meet half way that gives a radius of 2 hours

Plymouth and Newcastle (sometimes)

We've done a 300 mile round trip for a night of filth and debauchery so I guess the distance depends on how much you want what's waiting for you at the other end.

We have a limit if 40 miles. That’s if they are travelling to us or us to them. We wouldn’t want people travelling massive distances as we don’t feel we are “all that” and strangely would feel under pressure to “perform”

There’s no one answer to this question, everyone will think differently for their own reasons. Personally I only have around 2-3 hours free to meet so don’t want to spend the majority of that driving so I’d say about a 15 minute drive, each way, is what I aim for.

There have been many posts on this subject and some have travelled hours and others not very far.As for me I mention that on my profile how far I will travel which is roughly no more than half an hour.

Ive done up to a 450 mile round trip for a weekend of fun but its not ideal anymore ..

These days i would only consider up to a 50 mile radius but I'd rather not travel at all

For me, it's as much about where you are as to how far away ie I'd happily jump on a train to London or Edinburgh etc but I wouldn't drive the same distance across the country.

I don’t really have a limit , if it’s just a quick meet then I would prefer maybe 30 mins drive , however if it’s more than that I don’t have a limit

Totally depends on your personal situation. Ie. kids etc. Don’t think I could make Belfast and back during school hours.

The fact that I rarely fancy people in the flesh means I would prefer people to not travel too far to meet me. Would feel like an absolute twat if someone travelled hours and hours only to have a hot beverage with me and not even a hand shandy.

Ditto - it's reassuring to see someone else thinks as I do

Must have been mad. Went 80+miles to meet for lunch after weeks of chatting. However, it became an overnight, followed by three further weekends, so was all worth it. The motor felt the strain, not the driver.

Fortunately I can accommodate and have no ties, so recent meets have been within 30 mins dive either them to me. or me to them, social or naughty. Maybe that should be social AND naughty.

Manchester Area

When we first met, he was regularly working all over the country so from Gr Mcr a night in Newcastle or a few days down London was not a problem. Nowadays we still travel extensively and always look for fun in whichever area we are heading to

Depends on if planning a quickie or something longer for me.

I’ve done from Portsmouth to Lancasire for a weekend, but before now I’ve taken a 150 detour on a journey for a quickie

I live in London and it's a large area. It can take an hour just going south east to south west, don't get me started south to north! Therefore nowadays I don't travel outside south London.

For me? If they’re not within about 40 miles, they’re too far away. I don’t travel, so they would have too. And if they travel far, it puts a lot of pressure on me (I feel anyway).

Further than an hour and a half by public transport.

I can't drive now so have to rely on TFL or National rail networks

Preferably not more than an hour. Hour and a half tops. We're particularly central though so that gets us Edinburgh, Glasgow, Dundee... Lots of options

I once travelled 150 miles (each way) only for a no show and then to be told that, "they had to go to their mothers". Luckily I was going that way anyway so it wasnt too big of a deal, still annoying though.

I dont know how far I'd travel now though as no-one has wanted to meet since (or even then!).

I won’t personally travel out of my way for meets (kitty) so anyone who wants to meet as to come to us or if I’m in that area then I will meet there. I’d only travel far if it was someone I’d already met on several occasions.

1 hour max, nobody on here is worth travelling across the country for.

Ideally under an hour. Preferably 20 mins! But there are always exceptions. And you can share the travel to reduce distances. Always ways and means if you want to make things happen!
