Maybe there needs to be an understanding that by friends I believe this thread is a social only friendship as there is a FWB thread. So those joining in should be willing to make friends outside of their meet requirements similar to how it happens at any of the many social events. Or do some people only chat with others who meet their meet requirements at socials etc.?

I like to make friends and chat with people and have made some amazing friends who we both know we will not probably ever play but we are still friends.

Same here but through a kink site, not fab. Made dozens of friends, by going to their frequent group socials and actually meeting people.

Even though I might never play with them, they are all great people.

(The play-friends are cool, too... Been tying my rope bunny for a year now. Met her at a local social).

Whereas that place is more of an inclusive community, fab is much more sex-focussed, so if you don't fit someone's exact requirements, there's very little chance of making a friendly connection.
