Bird box....

I'm in Austria and bored so I watched bird box as everyone was hoping up about it. Wasn't that impressed. Felt quite standard to me....

It is overrated A quiet place is better it’s just a variation on a theme noise is the enemy instead of sight x

There was another thread about this the other day.

I think the film overall was good. But with a week 6/10 ending. Just didn’t have anywhere to go when they didn’t show what it was that was killing them or what they saw if they opened their eyes. (Which I like that concept). The acting was good also.

The books ending is a lot darker, if they had a different producer they would have followed the book but she said she prefers to end a film on a happier note. It did leave a lot to ponder but I thought it was decent.

SPOILER!!

The book ends with the people at that blind school making themselves blind by stabbing their own eyes out so they can never see that entity. That's what the article said anyway.
