Scunthorpe

Pint...

I've got the Tomtom watch, it has GPS built in so is good for running and cycling, it's also properly waterproof and claims to count strokes & lengths for swimming in a pool. It also has a built in heart-rate-monitor, but I don't think that works for swimming.

It isn't as much of a smart watch as a fitness watch though.

Snog!

I've had several versions of the Fitbit, the straps all disintegrated really quickly.

My mum bought me the Samsung GearFit3 last year, and it's brilliant.

York

I've got the Michael Kors Bradshaw smartwatch, it does all the fitness tracking but as it is more of a dress watch I wouldn't wear it swimming or doing anything rough.

We both use the Garmin Forerunner 920 for triathlon but each discipline can be separated so you can set it for pool swim and open water swim. You can set up the pool length too and measure in both imperial and metric. It is a brilliant watch and so easy to use. Pair it with Garmin connect on your phone app and it will link with Strava too, if you use that.

I've given up with them until they've got a week's battery life, had 3, all hugely disappointing and inaccurate, including apple and LG

Have a look on eBay for a second hand one or a triathlon site, they are always up for sale as people regularly upgrade them. No need to recharge for a couple of weeks. Battery is amazing.

Must admit I love my Garmin, I use it as my everyday watch as well as running. It does everything a normal smart watch will do, so you get text messages etc... think I paid around £100 mark.
