Bob Holness should have played Bond in Goldfinger - That would have been the best Gold Run ever.

A world of my own

Timothy Dalton then Pierce Brosnan. Of the old Bonds, Sean Connery. Don't rate Daniel Craig at all, sorry to those who like him!

Fleming died in 1964. George Lazenby's only Bond role was in 1969.

I liked Roger Moore, especially the Spitting Image piss-take

Completely off topic, but i note you are avoiding the descrptive use of colours, thereby avoiding infringing the trademarks of big men playing girly rounders.

Rushty my fine fettered fungal fellow, fear not, for my failure to furnish infringement opportunities with lavish colourful frippery will be the only concession I grant big-men this leap-year......,,,,,,

Hmmmm,,,, how odd...... I really thought I was going somewhere with this reply,,,, but it just seems to have got away from me!!!!!!!

Sean Connery closely followed by Timothy Dalton, both for that rough edges, and being tall, dark and extremely handsome.

And their voices, dreamy.

Personal fave was Connery, but they all had a great movies.

Dalton was unfairly underated and my fave bond movie is still Moore's The Spy Who Loved Me, closely followed by Thunderball and You Only Live Twice

Does anyone know why Geoerge Lazenby only did one Bond film? Think it was "On Her Majesty's Secret Service" in 1969.

Thought he was exceptional at doing Bond.

Just googled our own question. Apparently he kept falling out with the cast and crew on set.

No. Fleming died in 1964. Lazenby was unknown until cast in 'ohmss' in 1969 - geek.

Yes, his head got big and had bad advise to leave the Bond series halfway through making 'ohmss'. - geek

sexy on legs was Mr Reed although he was a bit of a maverick and would never have been offered the role
