I've just finished Leed Child's new one, Past Tense, and like all the others it was fantastic! If I could be any other person alive or fictional I'm pretty sure I'd be Jack Reacher...and not the Tom Cruise version

I love reading his jack Reacher books, and was so disappointed when Tom Cruise was cast in the role. He’s just not him at all. But yes he’s definitely a man to remember x

Thank you! I nearly flipped my life when the little man was cast as the big man lol 6 foot 5 with hands the size of supermarket chickens, that is definitely Tom Cruise like! If I hadn't read the books though I'd have said he played a good part

The day Somebody McSomebody put a gun to my breast and called me a cat and threatened to shoot me was the same day the milkman died.

That's a pretty intriguing opener

I don't mean to poke fun at tinnitus man but I'm guessing if I was hearing outside noises while reading a scary book my nerves would be wrecked!

I’m currently battling my way through this one. It isn’t that I’m not enjoying it, just that I have to concentrate on it and I never seem to get a quiet moment!

Yeah. I had a few page re reads. I found it easier when I started reading in a Norn Irn accent. Fingers crossed for the quiet moments.

He has some stand alone ones but I like the Roy Grace series, start from book 1 though! There is one story line that runs from book to book, so you definitely need to invest from the beginning! Lol

Some of it was true... disappointed he felt the need to fabricate and declare it in the preface but still a good read

Here occasionally, but mostly somewhere else

Last book finished was Ranulph Fiennes Autobiography, which I enjoyed - very dry, but pretty inspirational.

Have had Dear Boy - the Keith Moon story on the Kindle for a couple of years now. I dip in and out on public transport and so on, and am.still only half way through. It's interesting, but not exactly the "best book about musician " that the hype led me to believe.

Yes I read it on Holiday last month. It is typical Jack Reacher, which is the appeal of these books.

I have never got my head around the fact that short arse Cruise plays the 6ft5 built like a brick shit house Reacher in the movies, but I’m not a movie buff so it doesn’t bother me too much.
