As a Scotsman I don't believe, esp with no real sightings, just a tourist trap..

Loch Ness definitely exists, there isn't a monster in it though.

Hefty Hideaway

Aw I quite like that movie. One of my best childhood memories is sitting by Loch Ness with my dad whilst he told me the tale a mariner had told him. It was pretty magical and still that little girl who wanted Nessie to appear so badly lives within me!

Doh!

The Loch ness Monster?

It guards the secret underwater very deep doorway which leads to the inner underworld which is populated by The Greys in their megalopolis cities beneath the earths crust.

I thought everyone knew that?

Of course it's real. Lord Lucan and I rode Shergar too the edge of the loch. Seen Nessie swim to the bank and give Bigfoot some Rizla ...or did he pass them to me ?....I can't remember now, I was stoned

I suggest there is more evidence for ole nessie than there is for any God,, human soul, alians on this planet or ghosts,

That said I don't think think nessie as depicted has or does exist

Somewhere In The Ether…

The truth: Nessie is an extraterrestrial who was being held at Area 51 until she escaped her confinement and utilising the Philadelphia Experiment technology, teleported herself to Scotland where she has been in hiding ever since

Never mind Nessie, the loch, the film or Ted Danson.......Joely Richardson is an absolute babe. I'd walk over hot coals for her.

Central

I'd love there to be an unknown huge animal living there but assume that the concept is just the result of blaggers and marketing hype.

Totally believe in Loch Ness. I've been there, paddled in it, had a drink sitting in a lovely pub next to it.

The monster on the other hand... Nope.

Whilst there are many new species being discovered on our planet, especially in extreme locations, I do fear that the Loch Ness monster is quite possibly not entirely real.

Why do I say this? Well, similar tales have entered folk lore. Now, I do believe in folk lore, where there's smoke then there's fire and all that. However, monsters living in lakes is actually a fairly common folk lore tale. Llyn Tegid (or Bala Lake if you're English) is apparently home to a similar creature - maybe Nessies long lost cousin?

I do hope, however, that Gelert was real. Gotta love that dog!!
