Crows are a fun pet. Messy and loud. Smelly but fun. We had one that fell out of a nest as a baby. Mangled feet meant he could only hop his wings could only help him flap across a room. He loved grooming hair and sharing your food. Wotsits were a firm favourite. I think he lived until he was 9. Lovely bird. I hope you have many more years together.

I have two prize-fighting snakes. I jokingly call them Ronnie and Reggie lol

I keep them solely for underground snake fighting. It’s big business here in Glasgow. Usually takes place in the basements of pubs.

Passed down from generation to generation. Children are even taught snake fighting nursery rhymes and songs in school.

Not for the faint hearted. Hard work, they need proper training so puppy school, they need working, firm but fair handling.

GSD puppies are like land sharks. It's a herding breed, so will nip your ankles, they play rough. Chew everything, if it's not nailed down or in out of reach it's theres. Mine is good tbf, he will leave things alone. His sister has eaten phones, remotes, headphones, anything she can reach.

They are naturally anxious, fearful, mine doesn't like wind, he tries to hide from it. Or climb on my knee, which is problematic when he's 56kg of pure GSD.

However you won't find a more loving and loyal dog, he likes human company, he likes to be with you, they are very much a one person dog, and will follow their bae to eternity. Mine will sit in the bathroom as I shower, or sit in the bathroom if I poop, don't ever expect privacy :D

I've always had Shepherds, love them. My boy is 4 now and on a different level to any other i've owned lol

Hubby wanted a dog, he had boxers and gsd growing up. But we both work so felt it unfair. I was never “allowed” cats with my ex, so we got two rescue cats..brothers..best thing we ever did. They are dogs in all but appearance ..come, sit, get up, get down, hi five all on command. The pure black one even plays fetch for hours. Currently teaching them to walk on the lead so we can take them out (house cats) ..never thought they could be as affectionate as dogs, but they really are

Hubby had boxers when younger ..only dog he knew that LOVED fireworks ..would sit on the window seat watching them, tail wagging and head tilting ..took him to a display and the dog soon clicked that he got fussed to the moon and back and given bits of burgers and hotdogs as people thought it was cruel. But the dog genuinely enjoyed it.
