"Someone did something a little while ago and some people complained. I'm going with Prince Phillip for natural death and Jamie Oliver in a cooking accident. " Why complain? Nobody's advocating helping anyone along on their way. A

"Kirk Douglas. Wouldn't be eligible for the game. He's over 100. A They have to be under 100?" Yep. The old rules (as far as I can recall) were you had to pick a certain number of celebs including at least one under 40 (I think). You then got points based on their age when they shuffled off this mortal coil. One point for each year they were under 100. Otherwise you'd just pick really old people as statistically they were more likely to not make it through the year. A

" Just copied this from the 2010 thread!! "Basic rules: 1) Everyone picks 10 know famous people and at least one must be under the age of 40 2) Famous people include: Noble Prize winner, a writer, actor, musician, director, athlete, criminal, politician, etc. 3) Can not use people on "Death Row" or that are scheduled for execution 4) Also a "celeb" that is missing or presumed dead is not dead. They will be viewed as dead if they are in some sort of catastrophic event like a plane crash, fire, tsunami and their body is missing. If however they turn up alive then the points are lost. 5) Brain dead vegetable state is not dead Points: points to be awarded on the basis of 100 - "age"..... for example: Christiano Ronaldo would be 100 - 25 = 75 points..... In your picks please indicate why a "celeb" is famous, ie such and such-actor or such and such-porno director, etc. Also be sure to clearly indicate at least one pick that is under the age of 40. Prize: tbd This is a winner take all contest and in the off chance that a tie occurs I will do a coin flip for the winner. As points are scored I will update the point total for each entry with the winner determined on Jan 1, 2011." A

You got a week to get your names in. There was a monthly update on here and all you then had to do was hit Google on NYE to see who was still breathing. Fabio used to run it for years. A
