Saw more than 400 films in cinemas last year, currently compiling a list of reccomendations.

But my stand out film of 2018 is: Anna and the apocalypse.

I just thought it was a really good, novel story line. I probably laughed a little too much at the violent scenes though

"2 absolute raspberries but always make me laugh are Bad Taste and Braindead, both by Peter Jackson of LOTR fame"

Awesome movies! Did you know that for Bad Taste, Jackson himself and the movies tiny cast did literally everything from building the wood frame house, all the special effects, the soundtrack and even making the guns.

An amazing achievement indeed.

Yep, the seagull was a brilliant scene in Bad Taste and Selwyn the baby in Braindead was the star. So many classic lines in Braindead

Another vote for Birdbox and Bohemian Rhapsody. I also really adored Fantastic Beasts despite the criticism. I have a wonderful ability to lose myself in a good film and not notice a single flaw.

Best film I watched this Christmas though? Christmas Chronicles. I’m still feeling the happy vibes.

Not going to be everyone's cup of tea, but after watching it and then finding the Willy Wonka theory about it, it makes the move so much better.

Yes vasily zaytzev . It's debatable wheather the Germans sent a sniper to look for him. It's more a propaganda stunt by the soviets during the battle

I was surprised at how good it was. Just be sure to watch it before checking out the theory for obvious spoilers.
