Just checked the back of the kitchen cupboard.

There's some ouzo, 3/4 of a bottle of 90 proof rum, some absinthe and some Great Odin's Raven Scotchy Scotchy Scotch.

That would make an interesting cocktail......

Well ... it's fresh on my mind

On Boxing Day, my sister 'cheated' and bought one from the local farm shop

OMFG, it was divine

Served up with a few fresh raspberries and a teeny bit of double cream, it was heaven on a plate

I may have to 'cheat' myself at my next Candlelight Supper

I have a tube of Pringles that someone trod on, if you put the tube to your ear and tilt you can hear the sea.

Ps: keep the lid on or you will have an ear full of crumbs

"Cava"

I'll bring a couple of bottles of that too

With cheeses and crackers and chutneys

I've also got some pate and vegetarian terrine and a seafood platter.

I'm going to explode

All the food must be eaten by New Years Day evening then it's dry January

And clean eating before I have to have the window taken out in order to crane me into the modified ambulance

They were hugely popular nibbles in the seventies and eighties but seem to have sadly fallen out of culinary vogue so to speak
