I would personally attest to depression killing libido, although I think it’s equally true that for certain people with deeply embedded issues, that depression could manifest itself in some unusual or weird kinks.

Can go either way.. when I was very poorly I veered from extreme to extreme. It's the medication that often leads to lack of libido not the illness necessarily.

I think that sex could be like a quick fix for some (like a drug maybe) so when you feel low you want to chase that high and get something to make you feel good. Could be sex for some, drugs/exercise/ whatever for others obviously if thats something that makes you feel good you will continue to chase it.

Yes. I think high sex drive is more often linked to manic or hypermanic states

I have borderline personality disorder and I defo think there’s a link between that and being sexually promiscuous and highly sexed. Infact it’s one of the symptoms!! I told my psychiatrist about fab and everything lol.
