Football is a gentlemen’s game played by thugs.

The same can be said for the supporters

As an ex Union front row player, I find league uninteresting, and wish referees would enforce the law on straight put in at the scrum. Also the professional game is becoming too violent in that tackles are becoming too heavy.

I like a lot of the fit, younger guys who play, with the real Rugby player build, unlike some paunchy guys who wish.

Up for some hard tackle here anytime

At least they don't dive like they have been shot by a sniper when some one lightly brushes by them.

Unlike the wimps that play professional football.

Maldon

I enjoy the six nations and World Cup but lose interest if / when England lose.

I like to wind up my rugby fanatical friends by saying it was a game for the fat lads at school.

Asking ‘what is the point of the scrum ‘?

And, wouldn’t it be better to give them all a ball each, then they wouldn’t have to fight for the same one.

Come on England!
