Why would somebody send you an abusive message then immediately block you.

What do they actually get out of it apart from looking like a total idiot?

I didn’t. The message started out ok so I decided to read it all. Then I tried going to their profile to see if we’d chatted before. That’s when I found out I’d been blocked

I've found out today a lady I chat to quite regular in here has blocked me,it's weird
