Socials just because..........

Seems to be a lot of fed up people at the mo. Lonely because of the season.

A group of forum men said they'd have a beer night out a while ago but I don't know if it ever happened.

Not a date, not for sex, just a beer/ coffee and a chat. Just 2 people meeting or even get a few locals together.

Have you ever mailed someone in the forum just for a social meet? Would you meet up just for a social like this?

If I ever attend a social like that I always prepare incase something further happens but I never push it to happen - if that makes sense??

Hefty Hideaway

I’m happy to social up locally. I’ve had socials which for one reason or another turned out to go no further. Some planned that way to gain the green tick. Some because of lack of time or connection. Most of them have been enjoyable on their own merit. I have no issues with socials large or small. I know they’re not everyone’s cup of tea.

Mine’s a large, strong, black coffee

This is the only way I look at it on a first meet. It's to see if you gel. Going into a meet with expectations only leads to disappointment.

I've done a handful of socials. I got fed up being groped under the table and being asked for blow jobs on the way back to the station.

Now, I decide whether I want to meet them by chatting on here, and then agree to either a drink before sex, or straight to the sex.

We look at meets as a social first and foremost. If we like you, then things may lead to play, but we are most of all looking for someone we can have a good chat with.

Not a chance !

Some people on here may be in need of a friend or two , and that’s cool .

We aren’t , and we are fortunate enough to have a very satisfying social circle of friends who have nothing to do with swinging .

The two are very separate things to us , and always will be .

Yes a few times I've asked but ladies are understandably wary or didn't seem to get the concept of meeting for a coffee just because we get on chatting on here. So I stopped asking, thinking it must be a fab thing or just me. Only to later be chastised for not meeting for a coffee when I was close to where another lady lives. Can't flipping win!

"Seems to be a lot of fed up people at the mo.

"

Absolutely love social meets. I have gained some of my best friends through purely social meetings.

Nahhhhhhhhh. Experience tells me my efforts at a beautifully crafted personalised intro message would go straight in the bin, even if it's just for a cuppa.

Excellent offer, thanks muchly.

I came so close to purchasing a couple of awesome shirts in the sales.

I'm always happy to meet for a social - when nothing is going to happen, and both parties know it, there's no worry that things won't go right meaning both parties can be much more relaxed.

well.... as i find, rather than just talking about it, if someone was actually bold enough to get off derriere and do it, it would probably take off...

just name a pub in the area (not in the the actual thread).... pick a corner of said pub.... and just have a general drinkie with folks....

remember people...social is short for socialising.. so if anyone is going with expectation of more, they are going for the wrong reason!! as long as that is made perfectly clear.... i have had some brilliant group drinks with lovely people
