The local cat that visits me is fine. I let her in if cold outside and she goes to sleep without problems. Does not bother the xmas tree.

Mine got at the baileys the other night, he's a nightmare. I have to give him a bowl of food from my plate. Curry, lasagne, chilli, you name it, he eats it. He got the hump one night cos I ticked the wrong box on just eat and he ended up with chicken and sweetcorn soup instead of his usual chicken noodle. Never known such a sulky cat lol.

Turkey dinner for mine too, and I can never leave food out.

I thought I would be safe when the eldest one, who has the most varied taste in food, could no longer jump up.

However, she's managed to do a deal with one of the others to go look on the counter and knock anything edible onto the floor for her

Mine are not allowed on the kitchen surfaces and they know it. They also know when I'm not looking

Yep...left the chicken on the worktop whilst chatting to my sister in Italy, via WhatsApp.

Returned to kitchen to see cat perched on the worktop chomping away.

As I was chasing her Ben was pissing himself saying it looked like a scene from Tom & Jerry!

I just remembered one Christmas when a neighbour looked after my Doberman while we were at my in-laws.

We went to pick him up and she said he had stolen their turkey from the kitchen worktop and ate it all.

I felt so bad.

One of my cats was batting at the ice in my whisky, then she licked her paw and gave me such a filthy look like I'd poisoned her deliberately. She did it again though, and fell asleep 5 minutes later and was snoring the place down.

Well, woke up to dog shit & vomit all over the new carpet. I knew that treating him to a bit of raw turkey was a bad idea. He’s normally raw fed, but turkey is always hit & miss. Clearly yesterday was miss.

They eat frikken everything. Mine had an entire bag of tortillas last week. Luckily I was out at work the next day when the inevitable results appeared. And reappeared. And again.

My little fluffballs (now named Monster and Psycho Demon from the Inner Circles of Hell) dive into the fridge the moment it's opened to drag out cheese, open cupboards to tear apart loaves of bread, and have been known to sip wine and whisky.

They work in tandem to distract, conquer and destroy.

Yes, I DO feed them!
