I’m bored and she’s gone to bed. So. I’m watching Live aid on YouTube. I never noticed before that Dave Gilmour Played on the Roxy music set, or hoe good Paul Young was. Not to mention - Sade. What became of her?

vera playa, Almeria

I remember going to my parents house to watch it in colour as I was a poor student that only had a black and white TV. It was an amazing day even on TV

I always thought Paul Young did a great job at Live Aid. Adam Ant should have been brilliant but he sang 1 song that was new and nobody knew it. U2 were good but FFS what was Bono thinking spending all that time getting off the stage. They lost an entire song.

Sade was still the best paid female artist until a couple of years ago . Lives an almost reclusive life in the Cotswolds with her son ( used to be her daughter , but fully transitioned now ) and his girlfriend .
