The problem is people don't know how to treat others like decent human beings... Breaking up by text, ghosting and all the other ways people treat others like shit... Are they symptoms of the narcissistic society we have become/are becoming? There is a decline in common decency.. Sadly.. Hope you become stronger through this OP.

A symptom of a society where people are increasingly socially challenged and cowardly due to being able to hide from difficult situations/feelings behind their phone or keyboard. Dreadful behaviour, beyond the pale. He should be thoroughly ashamed of himself and you should seek someone with grace and manners next time OP
