Actually I’d recommend clubs before meets. The barrier for making connections is lower. Never had a 1 2 1 meet, but quite some club/party fun!

I agree, the pressure to play is lower in clubs than private meets. Hence we only go to clubs. No awkward conversations when your not into whoever your meeting.

If I wasn't in Reykjavik over new years I would have loved xststia. Well worth the trip.

Xtasia also do a new years eve eve event on 30th December for people who who have to work or can't make it on 31st. Or if you're greedy you can do both nights.
