Iceland, but Aldi is closer..

Christmas is as much about food as it is giving presents..

This year, what will you be serving as a starter for the big meal?

Are you going all out and setting yourself a culinary challenge or keeping it safe and simple?

I'm doing a couple of starters. Well a starter and a soup

Doing a langoustine starter, served hot, cooked in butter, garlic, lime and chilli.

Soup is a roasted veg and chorizo soup with grated gouda

M&S Seafood luxury platter. It's the perfect no fuss starter. Not beating a cold cut, boxing day sandwich but a close second.

We have corn on the cob every year. My mum often puts on a choice but still we choose it, it's tradition!

Grantham

6 pints of bitter, midday until 2pm, usually works well for me.
