So jealous listening to everyone who's getting their holidays. Sadly I'll have to work over Christmas. Feels like a never ending cycle. In need of a break.

..

I appreciate the efforts of those that do work over Christmas though. Without them where would we be? A big thank you to those who turn up to help us over the festive period

And I hear you OP, it’s like when teachers hit social media in July boasting about their 6 or 7 weeks holiday ahead of them. Good luck and enjoy your break later in the year when everyone else is back at work instead!

I'm working most of Christmas too

Half days here and there but it would be nice to have a solid 2 week break.

I haven't got any holiday now till April

No holidays here till probably next August. Just the odd day here and there. Would love for even 2 of the days to be together

After 15 years of working in the care sector and over every Christmas and New year I'm finally in a job where I'm off from Friday till the 3rd of January. I won't know what to do with myself after three days. I'm sorry for all those working over the period, but I appreciate it.
