ive just given a small bonus to staff on the bike orders we have for jan next year so they all got £1500 each.

hard work should be rewarded so i shared it out with everyone including the cleaner.

Yes my boss gave us all a £20 bonus in this weeks wages. But actually added it on to our wages so we got taxed on it.

Merry Christmas

I have an annual bonus but it doesn’t happen at Christmas. It happens in around April.

My bonus is performance related. I’m expecting a good one

Ah ha ha ha! Well my actual company gives nothing! Although we do get to leave a few hours early Xmas eve. Wooo!

I buy my team Xmas gifts and drinks and food out of my own pocket. My company are tightwads!

Although we do get a (potentially) nice bonus but that’s paid in the middle of the year, not Christmas.

My previous career meant that a lot of companies sent me things at Christmas. I always shared that stuff out.

one of the bikes we did for triumph as a concept has now appeared on mcn and looks like they are going to put it into production in a limited run so the guys deserved it. they put the hours in and it will only bring more customers to us.

i paid the taxes on the bonus as i wanted them to see the benefits.

My main job, I'm self employed. No bonus given.. The boss is a tight bitch

I have a couple of part time jobs, get gifts & bonus from those.

One we get a small % of the years profits.

The other couple bottles of our favourite drink.

It's a nice thing you did OP - being appreciated makes work feel like less of a chore.

We are constantly being offered bonuses to do overtime - but no one wants them because it's such a depressing environment.

Do you earn commission throughout the year?

I had 3 people trying to hit their annual number and get claw back for all the commissions they'd missed through the year. Would have equated to circa 10k each had they hit

Love that you have done that for your staff and a great attitude towards working as well. They must love working with you.

We got Christmas Eve off paid on top of the bank holidays. the bosses also signed off the tab for 2 nights out. I'm claiming back best part of £400 back spent on drinks for the 2 Christmas parties, that's only my rounds lol.

We also get bottles of wine from customers over Christmas. One client gave me £100 Amazon voucher. So I feel thankful for both the company I work for and my clients I work with.
