To be honest, you should always season a wok and just clean with hot water, the inner surface should blacken due to the oils and heat. It gives a natural non stick surface.

I previously tried good old domestos for the job but it gave me Hemorrhoids

Thank goodness for that...I have an oven that needs a damn good clean. Better done naked to avoid getting the black bits stained into your clothes...

I use non scratch scourers and loo roll soaked in vinegar to stick to stainless and taps .

Mr muscle oven cleaner I'm the orange box

Works wonders if you follow the instructions.

Leave over night
