Believe it or not, I've actually learned quite a bit from them!

Yes there's a load of nonsense, even rubbish too, and there's hassle from time to time, but there's also laughs, always guaranteed when a certain wee guy who seems to spend his life in the bath covered in soap suds is about!!!

i am a gobby opinionated shite

i use them cos im a housewife with caring responsibilies ,i dont do daytime tv, and i would rather have a natter, flirt or debate on here than worry about having the perfect house or dull conversations with yummy mummies about house prices.

That is not to say this is a replacement for friends, i have those too, but a welcome distraction, and a place where i can express part sof myself that would be inappropriate in the school yard.

i also use it to flirt with sir And upon occasion others who through their wit and wisdom catch my eye .

i dont really see it as a place to arrange meets, given that we are all so spread out however at the 2 or 3 big events i can make a year it is fab to see the ppl who have intruiged, delighted, excited and made me laugh. There are a few names on swelshies party list that made me bounce like tigger to see

Every post is of course a look at me post, since we all want others to read what we are reading, if we didnt , we wouldnt post. What lies behind some peoples motivations to post i am unsure, so i tend to stay clear of them

I get to spell here and test it out on you lot with my crap spellings wrighting posts , lol and i learn all sorts from fab forums and if ever i need to know somthing i mail and theres always someone out there who know ... like xmas carpet thing i had posts in my box where to get things to clean it .. and it worked thay saved me 100s .

To me, this board and other online forums that I frequent is like cyber pubs for me.

I frequent them for fun, banter and amusement. It is one of my favourite ways to waste time.

I have met peeps from forums that I frequent, and some became firm friends.

With any community, I cannot be expected to like and get one with everyone.

Those that I do not like I would avoid and give them my best Siberian cold shoulder.

A lot of the threads make me laugh, oh an' I enjoy watching people 'flirt' with each other, those posts always make me smile

I've learned from the threads what sort of 'red flags' to watch out for on profiles that may not be what they seem

Don't likes : um... probably the amount of threads started by folks comlaining of 'lack of success' after 3 measley weeks despite having an uninspired profile filled with pointlessness.

And the threads often make me wish I was more able to get to socials and such, to meet in person with a few of ya's.

Can't say I dislike them just ignore those that irritate me. Do find it frustrating and amusing when a post dissolves into a 2 way argument where no one is going to win. Why bother

I am a bit of a people watcher, and find peoples interaction with one another on here fascinating (I sound like a right geek!)

Likes: Getting to know people, and hopefully making new friends along the way.

Stories from the more experienced, so learning hints and tips.

Sharing advice and supporting people.

The funny threads.

The debate threads (so long as they don't start getting personal with eachother)

It's like there's a little community.

Dislikes: Maybe being somewhat overlooked for being a newbie (or maybe I bore some people with my _iews)

Unsympathetic posters who prefer to start an argument than felling a little compassion to someone in need.

Bigoted posters.

Posters who jump to the wrong conclusions, or just want to start an argument.

Thankfully, my likes over ride my dislikes (well they do at the min!)
