Jose Mourinho spent 884 days living at the Lowry hotel during his time as Man Utd manager rather than find a flat or house.

If you could afford it could you live in a hotel?

Imagine not having to do any shopping,cleaning or cooking or even having to make your own bed in the morning!

I love a wee break where I can hole up in a hotel. Not a holiday, but a few nights on a trip away. It’s like being in a little bubble away from real life which can be kinda nice.

Think the novelty of that might wear off if it was permanent though.

I'm having to live in a rental apartment outside Berlin as my apartment is damaged from water ...this place is 100 euro a night.... thankfully insurance is paying..... it's not fun second Christmas not being in my own flat.....??

I might want to start putting my own pictures up and changing the furniture if I did, unless it was one of those boutique type hotels. I dont do well in fully square rooms

when i stayed at a hotel in Spain for 1 month last year although the food was lovely it started getting a bit boring so ended up going out to eat a few times!

I lived in hotels, guesthouses, B+B' s for 6 - 9 months a year for 10yrs.

Coming home was always nice because ordering from a menu every day for breakfast lunch and dinner gets boring.

But then being at home and having to do chores and go to work is REALLY boring

So yes I could live in a hotel

The Menus were the worst part, when your allowance has to be used in the adjoining restaurant/pub and there’s like 10 or so options.

I can’t stand the sight of bbq ribs anymore

I know someone on here that lived in a suite at the W hotel in Leicester Square in London for a couple months at a time. Was his second home when in the UK.

I think I couldn't do that unless I could personalise the space

I lived in a hotel for more than 2 years... I was working abroad and my company arrange that kind of accomodation...

At the beginning, let's say 1-2 months, you enjoy the thing that you have to do nothing like clean, cooking or similar...

But after a wile you going to miss even simply have a breakfast in pijamas.

On the day off don't have to remember the damn sign "do not disturb" its a relif eheh

I can assure you is not like you see the hotel in vacation

I've lived in loads of Hotels from Blackpool to Isle of Wight. I worked and lived in them. Full use of all facilities, free food, cheap drinks and lots of sexy waitresses and entertainment staff!! I highly recommend it to anyo e under the age of 25...

No, I like having a place to live that feels like mine and all the things in it feel like mine. However I would be happy to live next door to a hotel and have my breakfast, lunch and dinner cooked for me, prividing the menu was diverse with lots of changing daily specials.

I have on occasions had to stay in the same hotel for anything up to a month at a time. The novelty soon wears off, the food becomes repetitive and having to find things to occupy yourself in the evenings is just as tiring after the first week.

I guessing that the hotel Jose stayed in for 884 days was a 4 or 5 star hotel and he probably stayed in suite as opposed to a room yes I feel I could do that if I was in 12 - 15 million a year as he was on.On a different subject it shows you how committed he was to Manchester Utd football club by not staying in a club house or buy a house.

I think Mourinho stayed in either a suite or an apartment at the Lowry Hotel

at the Lowry and when he checked out the bill for his stay came to £500,000!
