Pretty good!!

Very basic of course but good value! As long as you don't want breakfast in a box that is!!

Cheeseville, Somerset

They often have January sales or reduced rates in January.

A few years back they were doing rooms as low as £6 a night. I block booked a dozen or so and didn't end up using all. No refund but wasn't bothered.

Very handy for meets and whilst some may be 'hotel snobs' that wouldn't dream of using one plenty aren't fussed. Definitely a case of function over form.

Think you may find they only have one room at that price, and it's already booked

We stopped in Manchester Piccadilly’s travel lodge last week for £28. It was fab really clean, warm and quiet.

Can’t beat travel lodges and premier inns. I stay in London a lot and some of the hotels in the supposedly “nice” areas are bloody disgusting!

With the exception of Aldgate all of those would be a false economy for a night out anywhere central. Travelodge that aren't central are always cheaper. You won't find a price anywhere near that at the prime locations

Under the Duvet

Travelodge are generally clean, comfortable and warm.

Staff in every single one I've been in ( most recently Carlisle and York) are lovely and helpful.

Not a fan of the smell of the cleaning product they use but otherwise they do what they say on the tin.
