I worry a little, but I'm not active consistently and am tested, when I am. If I was to worry too much, I'd just not meet. Everything fun comes with risk. All you can do Is protect yourself as best as you can and get regular testing. Using protection, lessens the risk considerably. Not just this lifestyle carries risk. Only those in long term monogamous relationships, can feel completely reassured.

I bought a nasty "benign" skin infection that had me out of action for 18 month.

STD is no joke.

Most people are clueless.

Being married/attached is hardly a guarentee you can only guarentee your own monogamy

I am fortunate to work for a company that has free medical testing. I get a compulsory yearly full medical, and 3 monthly bloods and fluids.

The checks include stds and other tests.

Really there checking to make sure drugs are not an issue. But a couple of guys have had early indications of more serious problems.
