Or are there loads of stuck up people on here? I haven't been on for a while but nearly every profile ive clicked is like not meeting dont message me dont do this dont do that. Where the positive profiles at?

If people arent meeting, how does that make them stuck up?

My opinion only but the females on Fab get fed up of incessant messages from people who haven’t read their profile. They create a profile of what they want and don’t want in the hope that someone will actually read it and will shine through.

I rarely read womens profiles unless they're on the forum as I'm really nosey

But I have to agree that some are SHOUTY and ranty

But just pass them by, don't sweat it

I spend time putting my profile together; try to put a detailed overview of why I’m here and a little insight into me.

It can be quite frustrating when I log on to a large number of messages where it’s obvious the person hasn’t read it. Then when I explain my reasons to them (which is always polite and respectful), I often receive abuse back.

There are thousands of good profiles out there, several hundred "bad" ones, and a few exceptional (both good and bad)

I believe that the positives definitely outweigh the negatives

At least the op seems to be taking the time to read profiles, unlike a lot of others who seem not to do

Not meeting just means not meeting.

As others have said, it's frustrating getting umpteen messages a day that haven't read your profile, show no interest in you, and are crass, rude, or disgusting. It's very hard to resist the temptation to get shouty, because after the 500th message like that you begin to see red. I just want to be treated with respect.

I try to balance the positive and the negative, but I've tried a variety of tactics.

The sentence not meeting doesnt make them stuck up but usually what comes after. And stuck up is a strong term its more like moody

If I was a woman and had 100 emails a day to look through I’d probably be a bit more harsh, I wouldn’t have time to answer them all. And given the standards of some messages they probably don’t merit a reply in any case.

I’m selective on who I message here anyway if I don’t like the profile or don’t find them attractive I don’t message. So I actually only maybe send a few messages a week. Most of the time I get a reply because I read the profile and could see we would connect quite well. But doesn’t guarantee a response, attraction is two sided.

Hi op, I’m positive, in fact most people think I have been amazingly positive and inspiring ..

God knows why, anyway my point here is, some of us can’t meet, me for example..

But I love being Stella and love the banter and the friends I have made on here.

I’d say it’s more likely you just need to relax and chill a bit.

Life is tough, just because you’re not getting meets, perhaps look inwards into your self first?
