I find half of that to be true! The ones I fancy don’t like me.

But the ones I don’t fancy also don’t like me either!

So I can only relate to 50% of your observation!

Good question o/p. Over the years I've sometimes worked with a woman for a while and just been good workmates. Suddenly out of the blue, I've really started to like them quite deeply without making a conscious effort to do so.

Never attended work socials and parties.

It's a minefield.

Besides as a builder I am certainly not interested in any of my colleagues.

I like to get work purely on a professional level.

That's not to say that others shouldn't hopefully you will have a great time and not end up with the wrong person.

Attended mine last night. The office clique was very much apparent. I kept it simple by smiling, eating the meal when then slipping away without being noticed to enjoy a large four poster bed, room service and Predator on ch 4!
