No, not the artist.

Following on from the other thread, I was wondering if people do think that this is a good idea, if its ever acceptable to organise another meet for if your first falls through?

Obviously some people do this, so why would you?

Thoughts folks...

Hmmm tricky. I could see the benefit in having a plan b if it was strictly 'sex' you were after and you had booked a day off work, got a hotel, polished your nails etc but it seems a little heartless to me for plan b to be another person. You'd want a meet to be a bit built up and anticipated.

I think my plan b would be a big box of cream cakes

It's not something I would do. When I've arranged to meet someone then my focus is on them, I wouldn't have the time or energy to be arranging a second.

I think most people do that sort of thing, make a back up plan if a meet falls through. I tend to think of fab meets as shroedingers meets; neither existing nor not until I open the box.

No never as we would hate to be the substitutes, and would hate to do it to somebody else.

When we do weekends away it is always for a vanilla reason and we might advertise a meet or go to a club. If it we don't get a meet or have a bad meet then it doesn't matter as it was not the reason for us going away in the first place. That might be called a Plan B but we don't look at it as being such.

Hiding in the shadows

I always have a plan B but it would never involve another person.

If I got let down then I'd use the time to do something else, go to the cinema, pub.

Having a back up lined up, someone on the reserves bench?

No way

A couple of months ago I met a few people for socials within a week of each other....I felt bad then!

I like to enjoy the person I’m meeting and get to know them more, so I wouldn’t have a plan B in place! Other than the pub or cinema...

No, that's just being sensible and planning your time effectively

I feel bad for not feeling bad when I've done that!

My starting position is that I don’t really expect to meet people. Not out of any great insecurity, but just because of the men: women ratio, plus the fact that things come up, or fall through because people have lives.

I’ve never arranged a Plan B at the same time as an arranged meet, but I have had more than one pencilled in over short period of time a couple of times, and ended up being surprised that they both actually happened.

Fab can be like buses with me - no metes for ages then the proverbial two or three in short space of time.

I do totally agree with you. I think that if you're not enough 'into' someone that they're not your focus then you probably shouldn't be meeting them, it's a question of respect

No I would never have a plan B. For a start it's disrespectful and secondly it's hard enough to get one meet nevermind two on the same day! Luckily I've only been let down twice out of meeting around 12 women/couples so it's an acceptable no show rate.

I have a plan b but it’s never another person as I don’t let people down. It’s usually like ending up having a coffee and a fab browse on my own.

No I wouldn’t arrange one for my benefit and I would be a wee bit annoyed if I was plan B. As with many guys in here meets are few and far between and so they need to count. Barring some disaster I’d always try to make plan A happen

We tend to arrange to meet in clubs.

That way if we don't fancy each other, there is an easy Plan B for all parties.

Not quite the same thing I suppose...

I'm not planning on marrying anyone. It's a casual site. People can do what they like. I'm not interested on who someone has met and when. If someone wants to meet with someone else fine. If they want to meet me happy days

Always have a plan b .

We normally make sure whoever we are going to meet that we arrange to meet them somewhere where if they don't show we can go off and continue our day or night out in a vanilla way .

hiding from cock pics.

I would never want to be someone's second choice or Plan B.

If I was in a situation like that my plan B would be to go to a club and see what happens.

In fact the way I meet, my plan a would be at the club anyway.... so Plan B with just kick in if plan A was not there, or we had the wrong kind of vibe.

Filthy Fuckeryville

My plan b would generally just be a club, but I have met people before who have been chatting to, who are aware I have met them due to changed plans with others.

They've not generally been fussed as first meets are socials so not the same..... If its fuckage then its someone I've met previously as a rule

I always have a plan B, but it’s not another lady. It’ll be going shopping. Or getting up to date with my work emails. Having an epic wank maybe. Or a hot deep bath. Something like that!

Just couldn't do it. Plan b would be too cruel to another and I know could never replace the one I wanted to meet....

Doesn't really work for either party in my view....

Under the Duvet

I always have a plan B for everything in life, not just Fab.

Had an ex in real life who was totally flakey so whenever we arranged anything I always had a back up plan.

I also used to work two jobs so if I had spare time I didn't want to waste it.

So my plan B plan has carried over into Fab.

That doesn't necessarily mean I've got a second meet lined up, just that if Plan A falls through I've got something interesting to do instead.

That's common sense to me.

a quandary, could you change my mind?

I don't like the terms but, If I even had a thought about a plan B then plan A wasn't the right one to start off with

Have been made to feel like a plan B and it's a feeling I wouldn't want again.
