I often think this when reading the forums.

I want a connection but not ‘feelings’. I have to feel safe and comfortable with someone and not dislike their personality, and want intimacy but not romantic attachment.

I think that NSA has become a little bit of a dirty acronym, people seem to assume that it means a purely physical encounter where the individual looks after their own needs and that's it.

In my opinion it means no deeper emotional connection, but I guess meanings change!

In all seriousness its that kind of connection that I look for and try to build.

I think the passion and desire for another person, without the emotional ties, is essentially what most people on here are looking for.

Ok so maybe we should just stop labelling scenarios and people and simply just be clear about communicating what we are after.

It seems NSA and FWB means different things to different peoples.

I love a good connection and a lot of anticipation - someone who turns me on to no end, someone I can have hot sex, good laughs and chat and a cuppa with and at the end of the day go home to my beautiful husband feeling great about myself and this beautiful life. Call it what you will - it’s fucking hot and certainly doesn’t mean I want any emotional commitment or complications. X :

It’s a weird balance to try get to really nsa is preferable for some but as it’s been said if you don’t get to know the person or connect how can it really be great sex?

In my experience one night stands are fun but rarely great, unless I’ve spoken to them online for a while before hand and built the anticipation. The best sex I’ve had with people comes from knowing what gets them going and being more passionate and intense. That doesn’t happen instantly, and requires effort.

A friend with benefits is better in my opinion as long as you can keep it casual.
