I would imagine she may feel quite lonely on the sidelines.

She might not feel she can admit to bad feelings, or being sad about losing her husband. If she says this she may be thought bad of 'for not being supportive' of you.

I hope that even if you lose a wife, you will still have her as a friend. xx

We were known for a long time in the area. She worked in a couple of pubs. Been a carer. Produced vegetable boxes from her humungous veg patch.

I was her rather quiet husband. She has always been the one everyone talked to when we were out.

If we split she’ll have a massive number of people who will be there for her.

I’ll probably have to move away.
