Every year we wake up, go to my mum and dads in our jammies, have our breakfast and some drinks, and open presents there. Go back home, get ready, then go up to my granny and grandads where all of my family will be, for our meal. After the meal, we play board games, and the men go through to the living room and doze off

Spending the morning in bed

Then I'm going to give some elderly people their Xmas lunch for a few hours

Then I'll go for my xmas dinner with my sister and her family.

Miss has no family left sadly. My Mum passed away 3 years ago and my Dad goes to my Brothers and his family. He told me not to drive over this year and enjoy the day. We are going to the local for a few ours and then I'll be cooking. A bit sad but we are very excited for the cheese board and port Christmas Day night.

Christmas Eve with partners family then home Christmas pjs on an sleep

Christmas Day I dunno what order but open presents then my dad getting us and then over to parents for day

Boxing Day another partners family

And then 27th our turn to host for first time ever.

In 9 yrs not had Christmas off either day shift or nights so this is all new but if I wasn’t off sick then I’d be working as usual

I love Christmas Day. I will spend the day with my wonderful family. Everyone opening their Christmas stockings in bed with me, then downstairs for the rest of the day, I raise a glass of Bucks Fizz to my parents, my best friend and another important person missing in my life then it’s breakfast and presents. Food will feature heavily! Then games in the evening.

I do Chat to extended family but I don’t go out on Christmas Day. It’s the togetherness that I love the most

Presents at home with a nice hot chocolate and some Christmas music, then off to the inlaws for the day for more presents, the main Xmas Dinner and washing up etc!

Then hosting a load of people on Boxing Day with even more presents so effectively 2 Christmasses over 2 days!
