BBC weather says it's only 23mph..... yeah right.

It sounds like my roof is about ready to come off.

Odd really.... over 100 houses on my street, all built at the same time... and it's only my roof I think will come off.

Me me me me me.

We had it yesterday, it was frightening on Monday night into Tuesday morning.

These are brand new houses but they were creaking and shaking and one of my neighbours lost their front guttering.

I'm really scared of wind, I'm scared that windows will blow in and shards of glass will pierce my throat, I'm scared that trees will smash through my window etc. I don't know what started this irrational fear, been scared for years.

I know that I won't get much sleep tonight

Turn left at the Singing Ringing Tree

Last time we had weather like this, I was actually having a loft conversion done and only had plastic sheeting on the roof! Not much sleep was to be had that night, plus having to rig up four buckets suspended from the bedroom ceiling to catch the rain fall .......

Hope everyone is safe and all roofs stay in place tonight.

Last year when it was windy, about 5 huge window pains fell out at work... they all landed outside luckily... they are so caring at work they secured from the outside so that if it happened again they would fall inward and not damage any cars

Take it easy and remember the golden rule.... do NOT break or steer if you aquaplane. I had some tw@t nearly sideswipe me a couple of days ago because he hit standing water at speed and lost control because he panicked at steered

As I will have a car full, I shan't be driving as fast as I normally would, not just because the car will be heavy anyway therefore stopping distance longer but my kids in the car. My son will help me if I skid as he knows what to do but don't worry shan't be taking any risks at all.

And thanks honey 'hugs'
