Am I being a moody cow?

Someone messages you asking for a meet tonight (along with his work colleague, no less!) your profile clearly states that you do not do quick meets.

When you point this out in a polite but firm manner, you get sprouted back...well if you don't ask you don't get, is it just me? Or should we just leave all our profiles blank, seeing as no one pays any bloody attention to them anyway! Sheesh

I would have just ignored the message if they had'nt read the profile

I can't see any reason why I would need to respond and get myself stressed out about it by even continuing a conversation

I would normally reply informing him/them I am not interested and that I shall block them to prevent further contacts etc...

Honeypot I concede your point, and Evesham, no they were not offensive, but this has been happening too much lately, I sometimes think what is the point of having a profile, and no bugger bloody reads it!

maybe they did the sae to another profile and struck lucky so really your gripe should be with people that do things that contradicts their own rules on their profile

i once knew a guy who set up a fake girls proile and even out in the text saying 'this is a fake profile run by a bloke do not message you will not get a meet' and he still got messages

the day you sign in,and there's no wee envelope,in the top left hand corner.

that's the day you may have something to moan about.

unless your a single guy,where that would normal.

if that day does come,despair not.

you could do what i do,using a felt tip marker pen,draw a wee envelope in the top left hand corner,and pretend your ignoring it.

We're all unreasonable at one point or another!

On a serious note though, if people want to meet, they need to understand at one point or another you'll have to meet halfway.
