So it's a social Christmas Dinner next Friday, not work, and no "dress" code ...

So do I dress down my kilt (not going full Bonnie Prince Charlie) or just go with jeans and a shirt?

Going to swap out my furry sporran for the leather, and boots for the brogues

Kilt all the way! I got a nice leather one and the ladies love it when I’m out on the dance floor shaking my toosh about.

But every man and his dog thinks they can wear a kilt!!

Traditionally, only guys of stocky build and under 5'6" tall suit wearing a kilt; that's what I learnt growing up as a child in my native Scotland.

People of differing builds and heights just don't look right when wearing a kilt!

Yep that's (free swinging)bollocks.

My ex used to wear one for me, big big turn on.

If he went out in it, he'd be inundated with people wanting to have a look underneath.

Both sexes, all ages.

It was like kilt nip.

Have to disagree with you there.

I'm 6'3 and would wear my kilt at any opportunity.

Kilt with a belt rather than the sporran and a ghillie shirt! Casual look but still a turn on for the ladies.

I wear mine every chance I get.

That's where utility kilts have an advantage - they have pockets
