My answer as per the thread is this:

Absolutely.

Given posting links aren’t even hyperlinked on the site, the ability to post some key phone and website data for crisis scenarios such as suicidal ideation, mental health general, victim support, domestic violence etc would make sense and go some way to demonstrating a clear duty of care by the site for its members especially when it is understandably impossible to reply to admin contacts at such high volumes.

It seems rather nonsensical to disallow these when one can post a link to a YouTube video.

I'm not fussed if the numbers are on here makes no difference to myself, however Are these numbers not available on well known search engines, I'd have thought most folk would look there first rather than trying to find them on a swinging forum.

Perhaps the issue is that Admin/ mods would have to check out every phone number posted. Some people would no doubt post their own phone number/ a wrong one just to take the piss. Like the number for Costa instead of a helpline.

But they often don't look there forts, they post here looking for advice or help so why can't we signpost them to the very people that can give them that?

Generally its well known members that want to post such numbers so in theory tbey would only need to check anything that looks dodgy. If we do get the go ahead i cant really see people abusing it. The numbers will be inside a relavent thread.

This is why Admin made the rule, people were being malicious and putting other peoples phone number, even police landline numbers.

People could always mention what people have to google for.

Also can people top talking about bans, it isn't allowed
