Don’t like Christmas cake and all the fruit in it, but I’ll have some tasty cheese please with chutney.

somewhere in Buckinghamshire

Bought some Christmas cake cheddar from my deli. It's got fruit & brandy in it. It looks & tastes like cake and is yummy but bloody expensive £22 / kilo.

Crumbly Lancashire or Wensleydale with Christmas cake can be tasty but I prefer it without cheese.

Definitely, yes. People think I'm weird for liking that combination. A good, strong cheddar is nice. No icing or marzipan though.
