Somewhere In The Ether…

Random cracker related whinge: Don’t you bloody well hate it when you’ve gone to all the trouble to put a lovely cheese and pickled onion topping on one and the bloody thing desegregates all down your front when you bite into it?

That is all

My cupboards are bare too - not even a cracker in sight

I'm very rarely home all day and live alone so my fridge only has condiments and wine and my cupboards have cereal and more condiments and spices ( the spices are there to pretend I cook occasionally )

I'm bored waiting for the workman and would love have a yummy snack now

I'm contemplating a glass of wine to kill the boredom

Somewhere In The Ether…

Random Cracker Factoid: You know the holes that you often see in crackers?

They’re actually called, ‘Docking holes.’

Be sure to join me next time when I shall explain the fascinating origins of Melton Melbray Pork Pies

I hear you.

I never eat cereal but found a lone single box of Frosties and ate them last night.

Times is hard!

Haha bad times!

Did you have milk to put in the frostiest?

I might have to have porridge with water or dry shredded wheat

I'm not even hungry I'm just booooored!

I might need a couple of your crackers to soak up the wine I'm tempted to drink at 2pm

Well in that case.......

Did you know that the humble cream cracker was invented by a Mr Joseph Haughton at his home in Dublin, Ireland before being subsequently manufactured by William Jacob (Jacob’s) in a small bakery around 1885?

Cream crackers are great as rusk for homemade beef burgers.

Somewhere In The Ether…

Random Cream Cracker Fact: The name ‘cream crackers’ refers to the method in which the mixture is ‘creamed’ during manufacture.

What do you all have on yours? (Nosey mode on)

You're welcome to them, I tried one, it stuck to the roof of my mouth and I went crosseyed.

Will swap for wine...
