One skill instantly mastered !

Jump to newest

By (user no longer on site) OP

Say you could have any one skill instantly and completely mastered, but, it can’t be anything you use just to make money, get you fame, or help your career or life. It’s purely for your pleasure and people who maybe enjoy seeing carrying out this skill. Also NO superpowers, only things that are achievable through hard work and practice.

Mine would be to master the piano, I already play the guitar, but never got round to the piano.

So what would your instantly mastered skill be ?

Although that’s a superpower innit? So I’ve broken the rules! In which case become an artist. I’ve always wanted to be able to draw magnificent pictures but I’m total bobbins at it. Maybe with tuition and practice I’d get there!

Be able to Dancw or sing, either would do, I'm generally pretty awesome at anything athletic or techy, but chuck in some art, and self consciousness and lack of ability make me a complete tosser.

What I mean is that many of us have abilities that other people see as special, maybe even unattainable. Like those who can play instruments without thinking about it but for me I cant imagine even trying. Languages is another one I am in awe of....

Like a few on here, I've always wanted to play the piano. I dabbled when I was younger but turned to the guitar as it was somewhat simpler and quicker to get into.

You need to use a wide bladed chefs knife -not a pairing knife -and make sure you never raise the blade above the knuckle line -if you start slowly, you will be surprised at how fast you get the hang of it

Hiding in the shadows

I'm opting for singing too.

I had a beautiful voice as a child, school & church choir, often did solo - could hit notes that really did shatter glasses.

Mid teens, my voice broke!

I now sound like a cat being scalded.

Doesn't stop my singing but it does cause people to stick their fingers on their ears.
