As a follow on from the 'bad meet' thread I was wondering if people have ever had such a good meet that it's left them reevaluation their position on fab.

Maybe it was the post meet come down or maybe you felt something more.

Share your stories here folks and how you got over it, if you did.

I set a bar so low that the borrowers couldn't limbo under it.

Its always difficult afterwards in a kind of 'how the fuck do i follow that!!' way...

Can always tell it was a really good meet if I get all gloomy and tearful and just want to eat everything the next day too

I've not quite figured that bit out yet, normally I'll have a moan about how rubbish everybody else is and then somebody else comes along and changes my mind

I've had several that have been amazing.

Not just the sex, but everything.

Meeting someone who's company I totaly enjoyed, personalities that just clicked.

And yes, it has put me off meeting new people on numerous occasions.

I'd rather go without, than settle for average.

I don't think it's something I have had to get over - I can enjoy it for what it was. We carried on having repeat meets so maybe that helped. Or we started dating the poor sod.

Sometimes the comedown is a bit oh but normally I self care my way through it and give my head a wobble.

Sometimes you might think a meet is the absolute shit and the other might think it's shit - Meli's wise words of the day.

I've had two meets like that, did not meet anyone for months after because of him. Did not need too. When I did go back on the scene it wasn't long before I met another amazing guy,still seeing him, just one of those rare things in life, amazing connection in and out of the bedroom.

He certainly isn't going anywhere.

I invest time in getting to know people before I meet them so when we do meet, it’s a continuation of what we’ve built up. Then if the meet is amazing, yes it’s slightly depressing but I keep in touch and keep the fire burning until we can meet again.

I love the afterglow as it shows it was a great time...

A fantastic connection with one or two people sets the bar very high. You'd rather spend time with those people again and again than take the chance that time spent with someone new might simply turn out to be a disappointment. When time is precious you learn to prioritise.

I’ve had some mind-blowing meets on fab.

I’ve had many, many really great meets on fab.

I’ve had a few which have been average or not good at all!

When I have a really fantastic meet I hope they’ll feel it was too and want to repeat it - they generally do!

I never get low after a great meet - they keep me smiling for days - but I sometimes do if one didn’t go so great!
