" When we went someone tweeted “half time and still no bloody Tom cruise “ And hubby waited till the camera was on him and picked his nose and ate it... Can’t take that bastard anywhere

"Watched the show last night at the O2 and had breakfast with Jeff Wayne this morning at the Intercontinental hotel.....well we sat at a table next to him No one would’ve believed....... Great stuff !" Next morning a crowd gathered on the Common, hypnotized by the unscrewing of the cylinder Two feet of shining screw projected when suddenly the lid fell off……………. 'bugger', he said 'that's too much salt on my eggs'.

"So want to see this, love it. Headphones on, lay back, looking up at the stars and drift to a place in between. " I think I might have just spoilt the idea of watching the stage show, I have just watched or rather skimmed through two YouTube clips of the show both with Ricky Wilson in and I have to say I thought it sounded terrible , or rather he did.

"Hi guys We’ve both been fans of this musical since it’s first incarnation 40 years ago (Yeah ! Scary eh ?) LP and cassette of course. It was the first CD I (Mr) ever bought. We both went to see the live version for the first time in Manchester last night. Utterly amazing. Can’t recommend it highly enough. If you’re a fan please treat your eyes and ears to this wonderful experience. Breathtaking sound and vision. S&S x (P.S. You guessed well. We enjoyed it ??)" I went to see it in Leeds a few years ago. Brilliant. Brought the sound track still listen to it.

"There is a audiobook dramatisation by Jeff Wayne thats a cross of his musical version featuring music and sound effects but is much much closer to the novel (still with some creative licence) on Audible. It's narrated by Martin Sheen which isn't too far off sounding like Richard Burton" Seen an advert for this. Might give it a whirl. Thank you. S&S x
