A little while ago there was driving winds and rain finding its way through my windows and suddenly the sky is blue, sunshine and all is calm again!

Same here, was wet and very windy, but sun is out now, still blowing hard though.

Not doing my hair a lot of good.

Put some sheets on the rotary airer yesterday and forgot about em. just had to climb over next doors fence to get em back, they were still attached to the airer!

they said on the radio a guy was killed in Tonbridge..

sad to hear but given the strenght of the wind if its only one poor sod it could probably have been worse..

Have had that all afternoon, hailstones at one point, sat indoors in the dry thinking I might be nice and go get my son and his girlfriend from the pub to save them getting wet

Being a bank holiday, the bin men only collected rubbish in my road and not the reclycling...all I could hear all night was plastic bottles and tins bouncing all over the road! God are they noisy!
